The brand builder left his hometown and came to Taipei for learning cooking skills when he was 15. After many years hard working, he finally became a chef. However, his employer closed the restaurant and immigrated abroad at that time. Therefore, he turned to service at other restaurants but his cooking perspective was not recognized by his employers which made him frustrated. Finally, he started his own business by taking a Cantonese porridge shopfront over after his wife’s encouragement.

The porridge business had been not good since he took up. After that, he decided to sell his mastered Hakka cuisine which he had learned for so many years.

Afterwards his restaurant become quite popular and he continues to use the same brand name, Jin Shan, which means golden mountain in Chinese. He hopes he can always dedicate to offer customers cuisine with high quality which is like mountain hard defeated and impress them with the value of the quality like gold. He has set this goal to achieve since the business started.      

Jin Shan Hakka restaurant was started in 1990.

It has always been keeping the quality of ingredients, strictly choosing suppliers in order to provide the freshest ingredients for customers and insist on the traditional flavor by highly demanding the cooking process.

It also dedicates to offering a warm, comfortable and clean environment.
